Salary Negotiation
|
It's a fact that high
calibre candidates will usually receive
more than one job offer, even in times of
recession, as the best candidates are
always in
demand.

|
Many candidates, particularly those affected by redundancy,
will in any case make multiple applications, since nobody wants
to be out of work for any length of time.
This means that you face competition from other
employers.
Because of the unique way that IT-Recruiter attracts
candidates, the candidates I introduce are usually more
motivated by the job on offer than by financial reward, which
greatly assists the negotiation process.
The negotiation actually starts before the candidate
applies for the position. It is then reinforced at every stage
of the recruitment cycle to ensure that when you make the offer
of employment, you have a much greater chance of successfully
hiring your first choice candidate.
Compare that to other IT recruitment services.
Some IT recruitment agencies make multiple applications on
behalf of their better candidates, playing a numbers game to
ensure that they receive a fee.
This means that at the same time that they are supposed to
be representing your interests, they are creating a conflict of
interest by introducing the same person to competing
employers.
Because IT-Recruiter doesn't maintain a candidate database
and has a strict "no canvassing" policy, the candidates that
are presented to you are not being sent elsewhere.
The advertising methods employed by IT-Recruiter.com,
together with the fact that only a very small number of
positions are being handled at any one time, means that we
should never be in a position where one of our candidates
applies for more than one role.
This gives my clients at a significant advantage in the
negotiation stakes and helps reduce the chances of having to
enter into a bidding war with other employers.
